Il Forno
Named after its initial function as a bastion to guard the walls of the fortified village, it became one of the ovens in the town through the creation of a large wood-burning oven inside which the housewives brought the ‘grown’ paste to cook it and turn it into bread, basic element of every peasant kitchen.
Today retaining its original character it has been transformed into a small loft with living room, kitchenette and bathroom on the ground floor and sleeping area with bathroom on the first floor which overlooks a large panoramic garden and has an entrance from the streets of the ancient borgo.
